We all have more possessions now a days. With the houses getting smaller and the increase in one parent families there is little or no space to store our family heirlooms, that we are saving for our children or to store summer / winter sports equipment.
To meet the increased need for Self Storage by clients, Britannia Castles are now offering this service in the Dover, Sandwich, Deal area. At the moment we offer two options, one is in wooden containers and the other is in metal containers.
Customers use our Self Store space for overflow stock, out of season stock. To store summer garden furniture in the winter. Sports equipment. Offices use the space for document storage, we also offer a collection and retrieve of documents for our customers.
Wooden Containers
are placed in the loading area at the rear of your vehicle so making it easier to load and unload - no time consuming carries down long corridors. When full it is then stacked into the warehouse until you require it.
With these we ask that you give us 24hrs notice of your arrival at the warehouse.
Metal Containers
are offered in two sizes; 10ft and 20ft. These are stored in our fenced compound in Deal. Access to these can be without notice but during normal opening hours, which are listed below.
Opening hours Mon to Fri 8am to 5pm, Sat 9am to 11am.
Packing Material
We offer a large selection of packing material for all your household removal and storage requirements.
These are avaliable from our premises in Deal, Kent or for a small charge can be delivered to your home.

We also have customers from Thanet areas of Ramsgate, Broadstairs and Margate who use our storage units. Britannia Castles can offer a basic level of Archive Storage for documents. This allows companies to place boxed documents in long term storage and retrieve them if called upon to do so.
Or you may wish to take it a step further to include Records management. This is a comprehensive storage and retrieval system of individual files or documents which may be in intermittent or even regular use. These would include commercial documents, legal papers, hospital records, financial accounts, etc. All documents may be called off when needed and delivered within a few hours.
Delivery & Collection We can offer a collection and delivery service upon your request from 1 file to many cartons.
Confidential Destruction Britannia Castles also offers the service to securely dispose of any data containing personal information, which may include names, addresses, financial and legal documentation . Almost every business be it small or large generates documents containing sensitive information. The destructioon of this information can become neccessary for any number of reasons.
Britannia Castles offer a security shredding service for sensitive documentation. You simply pack your documents into one of our 20kg sacks, seal it your self, and then call us to collect it. The sack is then shredded and a certificate of destruction issued. Please contact for further information on this service.
Archive Cartons We also supply a wide range of packing materials including archive cartons.
We currently stock three types of cartons all of which differ in quality and price depending of the frequency of their use for further price please contact us.
